LOL! Martin was a leadership struggle! That's why the party was so fractured and you had Liberals campaigning against the Liberals.
This was no longer the Liberal party and was "Team Martin". That was the failure.
I supported John Manley for the leadership orginally. I thought Martin was indecisive, too popular (everybody thought he was the saviour), and he brought in Jean Lapierre. Looks like I was right.
