Canada Won't Get a Blackjack with 21st PM Paul Martin
was recently sworn in a Canada's 21st Prime Minister. The most
noticeable changes is that all of Paul Martin's opponents have been
removed from cabinet. John Manley, Allan Rock, Herb Dhaliwal, David
Collenette, and Martin Couchon are all gone. Unlike past prime
ministers like Jean Chrétien who kept Paul Martin, Brian
Mulroney who kept Joe Clark, and Pierre Trudeau who kept Martin Sr. and
John Turner; Martin wants people 100% loyal to him serving him. This is
not how democratic leaders behave but rather how tyrants act. Instead
of letting his opponents have a public voice he is attempting something
more malicious. He is deporting his opponents. By offering ambassador
posts throughout the world to former ministers who aren't loyal to Paul
Martin he wants silence from critics.Related Rants: Rejuvenated Conservative Party in Quebec wins most seats in divided parliament United Right Fails to sink Martin; Left makes big strides Jean Chretien canadianwild.ca Interactive: Your Chance To Rant |
